We Believe That...

"God is bigger than the air we breathe, the world we'll leave..."

This is a song that we often sing together as a community, and we do, in fact, believe it. We believe that God is real and in control. He is loving, holy, and the creator of the earth, the stars, the sky and each one of us. We are made in the image of this Almighty God!

• Our ultimate purpose in this life is to live in a loving and intimate relationship with our heavenly Father
• Resulting from the fall of Adam and Eve, man could not overcome the incredible obstacle called sin, which separates us from God, not only in this life, but for eternity! This sin is the result of the human heart in a fallen world...but the Father had a plan...a master plan!
• Jesus, the Father's only son, was the Father's master plan! Jesus lived on this very earth, teaching and loving mankind, demonstrating and presenting the Kingdom of God through supernatural signs and miracles. He then chose to obey the will of Father - such perfect love!
• 2000 years ago, in fulfilling the Old Testament prophecies, Jesus was crucified on a cross by the very people He came to save, so that we, 'simple man,' would be able to enter into an incredible relationship with the Father in Heaven.
• This plan is mapped out for us in John 3:16-18.
  "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God."
• Jesus came and died for you and me, for the forgiveness of our sins, so that we could live totally free and receive this incredible gift of salvation! 
• This invitation is open to all who would receive this gift and turn their lives over to Him through the perfect blood of Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the World. As a result, the rule and reign of Jesus Christ comes into our hearts, minds and souls, offering us the opportunity to enter into this wonderful relationship with the Father. Thank you Jesus!
• And it doesn't stop there! Jesus has left us a mandate for life on this earth in Matthew 28:19-20. This is not our responsibility as believers, it is our response!
  "Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age."
• The spiritual adventure with our amazing King and Saviour begins. As we live as ordinary men and women, whose lives have been changed and impacted by the extraordinary love of a Father, we cannot but respond to Him, by loving Him passionately, loving His bride, The Church, and loving the world that He came to save.
• The Bible is the inerrant, infallible, Spirit-breathed, Word of God, and is the highest authority for us as believers.
